one cannot have a liberal embrace
a conservative embrace
an anything embrace

humans beings identify as this or that group
in this identification wisdom is blocked
as agendas of the group are championed

freedom is lost
in identifying essence, spirit,
with this-or-that

in this identification
all outside the merging
tends to be excluded, so
protecting the group identity

such collections of persons
are collections of egos
so the group becomes a collective ego `
not the one I, which is prior to any group, but a group-self

whereas a group that is sacrament of spirit
provides a context and intent
to transcend this individualism-as-group in Love for all

playing the game of insider-and-outsider
often associated with conservatism
is also a game of liberalism, of group-I

all these games, despite whatever good arises,
is still the play, the illusion, of
the mind, not the Heart ~ or I
